Bulges
I don't get why some department stores display mannequins with big bulges.
Not many Filipinos are well endowed. The average length of a fully erect Filipino dick is around 5 inches and it has a circumference that isn't too thick (I'm gay, I've seen many already). Obviously the picture above does not show a hard cock, so it suggests a size that does not apply to most Filipinos even if they're growers or showers by local standards.
So who does this mannequin represent? I'm sure this mannequin does not represent the average Filipino-Chinese man since he is indisputably the least endowed in society. A sweeping generalization? Hardly. You all know this to be true.
The point of adding a sock or two escapes me. Is it to mock the average Filipino penis? I don't know. I really don't know. Perhaps it's to encourage the average man to seek ways of enhancing his manhood. But these boxers and briefs come in sizes, so what's the point? I am without an answer. Anyway, we all know that the length and thickness of the penis only plays a part in the entire glorious sexual experience.
I conclude this post by saying mannequins in department stores really ought to be displayed according to the average Filipino size... without the extra padding.

grossingly-funny, i observed that too to mannequins
ReplyDeletei think ur over-analyzing things. i don't think they had dick sizes (plus nationalities) in mind when they decided to add an extra umph.
ReplyDeleteit's just merely to catch attention. judging by your reaction, looks like they succeeded.

It did catch my attention. I just found it odd and writing about it seemed a fun thing to do. Besides, where's the fun in blogging if we not over-analyze every now and then, eh? I don't know about you though. :)
ReplyDeletekeep blogging. i enjoy reading ur stories. just be open to comments.

I think it is a marketing strategy. It gives a subtle message to the buyer that when he buys that brand or design e magmumukhang malaki yung kanya.
ReplyDeletehmmm... my beef is, if they're making the bulge that big, why not go all the way? shape it like the real thing, with a thick shaft and a big head. so when you look at it, it seems like you're looking at a real well-endowed guy wearing a tight fitting underwear (instead of just staring at a big lump). now, if they can do that, they'll have all my attention!
